Simple History Premium 1.11.0 Released — Admin Bar Filtering and Smarter Alerts

Premium 1.11.0 adds post-specific filtering in the admin bar, new alert conditions, and richer email reports.

“This page” filter in the admin bar

The admin bar Quick View now has a “This page” filter that shows only events related to the post or page you’re currently viewing. If you’ve ever wanted to quickly check who last edited a specific page without leaving it — that’s what this does.

New alert conditions

Two new conditions for alert rules:

  • Post ID — trigger an alert when a specific post or page is edited.
  • Message — match against event message text with contains, does not contain, begins with, and ends with operators.

Combined with existing conditions, you can now set up fairly targeted alerts — like getting a Slack notification when someone edits your pricing page, or an email when a specific error message appears in the log.

Richer email reports

The weekly email report now includes detailed breakdowns in each section: who logged in, which usernames and IPs had failed logins, which posts were edited and by whom, plugin version changes, and more. Lists longer than 5 items are truncated with an “and more” note to keep emails readable on busy sites.
