With the latest release of Simple History you can see how many new events there is in the log, just by having a browser tab with the history opened in the background.
It’s a very nice feature to have if you, like me, have many tabs opened, and you don’t want to switch to the tab with Simple History all the time to check for new events. Just check the title of tab and look for the number inside the parenthesis. Just like in Gmail and other web sites.
